For the 2nd year in a row, PlanetCare has been selected as the winner of the world's leading innovation competition Zero Microplastics Challenge 2020<\/strong><\/a>! The goal of this competition is to contribute to a faster reduction of microplastics emissions from textile washing and pave the way for criteria for microplastics emissions in the Ecodesign Directive for washing machines and filter solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All teams and their products were assessed based on the technical performance and undergone a life cycle analysis, through which the manufacturing, distribution, use, recycling, and final disposal were evaluated as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
